Training with ATSAC.

ATSAC offers a one year certificated programme in working with individuals who adversely experience compulsive sexual behaviours.

Potential participants will be considered for a place on this course if they can evidence the following:

• General membership of ATSAC.
• A previous training to at least diploma level  in counselling, psychotherapy or an allied profession.
• Accreditation with UKCP,BACP, COSRT, BPS or similar or, that the applicant is actively working towards accreditation with one of the above.
• Professional liability insurance to at least £2.5 million.
• A written report from their current supervisor which comments on the participant’s ability to:
• Work with boundaries.
• Work within a therapeutic framework.
• Recognise ethical dilemmas.
• Use supervision appropriately.

Applications from practitioners with other significant trainings or experience will be considered on an individual basis.  Acceptance is at the discretion of the Trustees.
